Physical Problems: Nothing gets a person to pay attention to their body like the inability to walk. For with every step you take (or cannot take), the pain gets reinforced. Often, an inability to walk is the outer sign of a person's inner inability to move forward in their life.

For example, one client was in an extremely disempowering romantic relationship. Everyone told this person that their partner was "no good for them" but the client, insecure about their looks and their personal attractiveness, hung on. The underlying reason for this clinging was not so much insecurity about finding another partner but unconscious guilt over how they treated this person in a past life. Once their guilt was gone, so was their partner and their pain.
