First Level "I Already Knew That" Syndrome: Many times in the Higher Self Channeling session, you may hear your Higher Self saying the same things that others around you may have already told you. Many times those close to us tell us things about ourselves that we automatically reject.

• We may reject their advice because we might believe the person(s) giving it do not have our best interests at heart for whatever reason.
• Or we may reject their advice because we perceive that the person giving it has some "ulterior motives" or a "hidden agenda" which is designed to promote their interests at the expense of ours.
• Finally, we may reject their advice because we believe that somehow they are unfit to give it (for example, if our young children tell us things, we ignore it because it "comes out of the mouth of babes").

When our Higher Self speaks, often it is the excuse or the catalyst we need to listen to what we already know (as in "Can 3 million Englishmen be wrong?").

Second Level "I Already Knew That" Syndrome: Other times only we are the ones that know the truth about ourselves. Yet like that lump of dirt under the carpet that keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger, we chose to ignore it, hoping against hope that it will go away... but it never goes away.

What happens is that we or someone else will eventually step on that nasty lump in our carpet and the dirt will go flying in many different directions. Often, once that happens, we can get banged around with tragic consequences. For example, a woman in an abusive marriage had to undergo three of her husband's attempts on her life before she "lifted up the carpet" of her problems and chose to save her life.

Third Level "I Already Knew That" Syndrome: If you are utterly convinced that you know exactly what your problems are and exactly how to solve them... then what are you waiting for: JUST DO IT!!!!
