The Doctor Is In...

When life gets to be really tough...

Here is timeless wisdom that might help you through...

Just for today I will contemplate this simple advice and take it into my heart:

Everything happens for a reason.
......So I know that right now I am where I am supposed to be.

I am where I am because as I have sown, so now do I reap.
......I accept full responsibility for my life.

I show courage by working to overcome my fears.
......I have success by learning to master my obstacles.

I realize that if I do not like where I am now:

For now, I just need to put one foot in front of the other
......and do the best I can with what I have.

For now, I just need to get through today
......and not grieve yesterday or worry about tomorrow.

For now, I just need to keep it simple
......by holding love in my heart for everyone and everything.

I realize that if I do not like where I am now:

I choose to believe this too shall pass
......for I know that all conditions on this Earth are temporary.

I choose to live one day at a time
......for I know that this is all I have to do - God will do the rest.

I choose to accept that change takes time
......for I know God is bringing me to where I can be joyful.

I realize that if I do not like where I am now:

I must learn to turn it over for when I can't, God can.
......All I have to do is let go and let God.

I must learn to trust
......for God will not close one door without opening another one for me.

I must learn to love
......for God's Love makes all things new and it is this Truth that sets me free.

So to get to where I want to be
......I will follow these simple rules, just for today...

I will love myself and others
......doing unto others as I would have them do unto me.

I will forgive myself and others
......realizing that but for the grace of God, there go I.

I will help myself and others
......by thinking with my mind and feeling with my heart before I act.

For whatever questions arise for me today,
......I will remember that LOVE is always the answer.
